Draw Closer To Me.

“I’m lonely. I’m feeling so scared in some horribly deep way and for a flash of an instant,  I can see just how lonely and how deep this feeling runs. It just scares the hell out of me.” 

Do you ever feel that way? 

Lonely? Or even afraid? 

You know this world that we live in is empty and often so cold. It’s loneliness can cut and torture your soul. The trouble is not really being alone, it’s being scared; being anxious of several things concerning life. That’s when you feel alone in the midst of a crowd.  

If you ever feel lonely and scared, how about invite a friend to walk with you.Christ promises to walk with us if we invite Him. It’s only for us to ask Him to draw closer to us. He is never too far when we need Him. He tells us, “Let not your heart be troubled.” You could listen to His tender words in His soft whisper, “My Child, draw closer to me. ”

Jesus wants to give us rest from all our heavy ladens. You know Him, unlike our friends, He understands all our grievances. Friends may leave us feeling alone,  Christ on the other hand  will only require us to realize that we are in dire need of Him,  then seek His face. 

“The Lord is near to the brockenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are Crushed. “~Psalm 34;18

” Come near to God and He will come near to you… ” ~James 4:8

There is warmth in Christ’s embrace. It is just for us to ask Him to draw us close to Himself so He returns us back to Himself where we will never feel any lonely nor afraid.
